The IBM board of directors today declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $1.40 per common share, payable June 10, 2016 to stockholders of record as of May 10, 2016. Today's dividend declaration represents an increase of $0.10, or eight percent higher than the prior quarterly dividend of $1.30 per common share.
The United Technologies Board of Directors today declared a second quarter dividend of 66 cents per outstanding share of common stock, which represents a 3.1 percent increase over the prior quarter's dividend amount. The dividend will be payable June 10 to shareowners of record at the close of business May 20.
Exelon declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.318 per share on Exelon's common stock. The dividend is payable on June 10, 2016, to shareholders of record of Exelon on May 13, 2016. The dividend increased from the previous amount of $0.31 per share to reflect the Board's Feb. 3, 2016, decision to raise Exelon's dividend by 2.5 percent each year for the next three years, beginning with the June 2016 dividend.
Sunoco announced that the Board of Directors of its general partner has declared a quarterly distribution for the first quarter of 2016 of $0.8173 per common unit, which corresponds to $3.2692 per common unit on an annualized basis. This represents a 2.0 percent increase compared to the distribution for the fourth quarter of 2015 and a 26.7 percent increase compared with the first quarter of 2015. This increase marks the twelfth consecutive quarter that Sunoco LP has raised its distribution. The distribution will be paid on May 16, 2016 to common unitholders of record on May 6, 2016.
DuPont's board of directors approved a second-quarter dividend of $0.38 per share, the 447th consecutive quarterly dividend since the company's first dividend in the fourth quarter of 1904. The second-quarter dividend of $0.38 per share of common stock is payable on June 10, 2016, to stockholders of record at the close of business on May 13, 2016.
