The SPDR S&P 400 Mid Cap Value ETF (AMEX:MDYV) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 1.1 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 32,000. Shares of MDYV were off about 0.8% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Southwestern Energy (NYSE:SWN), trading up about 0.2% with over 12.9 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Endo International (NASDAQ:ENDP), off about 3.2% on volume of over 8.5 million shares. Live Nation Entertainment (NYSE:LYV) is the component faring the best Thursday, up by about 9.3% on the day, while Dillard's (NYSE:DDS) is lagging other components of the SPDR S&P 400 Mid Cap Value ETF, trading lower by about 16.9%.
