In trading on Monday, biotechnology shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.3%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Abeona Therapeutics (NASDAQ:ABEO), down about 15.4% and shares of Curis (NASDAQ:CRIS) down about 8.5% on the day.
Also lagging the market Monday are drugs shares, down on the day by about 0.7% as a group, led down by Nabriva Therapeutics (NBRV), trading lower by about 12.3% and Apellis Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:APLS), trading lower by about 8.6%.
