The First Trust Small Cap Growth AlphaDEX Fund ETF (NASDAQ:FYC) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 167,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 32,000. Shares of FYC were up about 0.4% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Extreme Networks (NASDAQ:EXTR), trading off about 23.4% with over 9.9 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Match Group (NASDAQ:MTCH), off about 0.7% on volume of over 8.3 million shares. Axon Enterprise (AAXN) is the component faring the best Wednesday, higher by about 23.3% on the day.
