In trading on Wednesday, the SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF (NYSE:KRE) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.3% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Veritex Holdings (NASDAQ:VBTX), up about 4.5% and shares of Green Bancorp (GNBC), up about 4.3% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Utilities Select Sector SPDR Fund ETF (NYSE:XLU), off about 1.2% in Wednesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Wednesday were shares of Exelon (NASDAQ:EXC), lower by about 1.9%, and shares of Centerpoint Energy (NYSE:CNP), lower by about 1.9% on the day.
