In early trading on Thursday, shares of Dollar Tree topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 4.3%. Year to date, Dollar Tree Inc has lost about 19.0% of its value.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Quest Diagnostics, trading down 8.4%. Quest Diagnostics is lower by about 9.8% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Twitter, trading down 4.1%, and Nielsen Holdings, trading up 3.3% on the day.
