In trading on Monday, precious metals shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.1%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Anglogold Ashanti (NYSE:AU), off about 6% and shares of Seabridge Gold (NYSE:SA) down about 4.7% on the day.
Also lagging the market Monday are aerospace & defense shares, down on the day by about 0.4% as a group, led down by Boeing Company (NYSE:BA), trading lower by about 6.6% and Wesco Aircraft Holdings (WAIR), trading lower by about 4.2%.
