The First Trust Large Cap Growth AlphaDEX Fund ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 139,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 43,000. Shares of FTC were up about 0.8% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Palantir Technologies, trading up about 3.2% with over 111.0 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Tesla, up about 1.6% on volume of over 45.7 million shares. Monolithic Power Systems is the component faring the best Thursday, higher by about 14.5% on the day, while Dynatrace is lagging other components of the First Trust Large Cap Growth AlphaDEX Fund ETF, trading lower by about 7.8%.
