In trading on Monday, the First Trust NYSE Arca Biotechnology Index Fund ETF (NYSE:FBT) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.6% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Nektar Therapeutics (NASDAQ:NKTR), up about 32.3% and shares of Agios Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:AGIO), up about 3.7% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the SPDR S&P Retail ETF (NYSE:XRT), down about 1.2% in Monday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Monday were shares of Caleres (NYSE:CAL), lower by about 5.1%, and shares of Smart & Final Stores (SFS), lower by about 5% on the day.
