In trading on Friday, precious metals shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.4%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Klondex Mines (KLDX), down about 12.1% and shares of Eldorado Gold (NYSE:EGO) off about 5.1% on the day.
Also lagging the market Friday are paper & forest products shares, down on the day by about 0.9% as a group, led down by Koppers Holdings (NYSE:KOP), trading lower by about 3.6% and Verso Corporation (VRS), trading lower by about 2.9%.
