In trading on Tuesday, the iShares U.S. Home Construction ETF (AMEX:ITB) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 3.2% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Pultegroup (NYSE:PHM), up about 8.7% and shares of William Lyon (WLH), up about 7.2% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Oil Services ETF (NYSE:OIH), off about 3.9% in Tuesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Tuesday were shares of U.S. Silica Holdings (NYSE:SLCA), lower by about 11%, and shares of Noble (NYSE:NE), lower by about 8.1% on the day.
